*Engagement photo session
We have been using Happy Hollow Park for years to shoot
engagement photos. It normally takes about an hour for the
shoot and we generally take around 200 photos. You can also
choose to have your engagement photos taken somewhere else
like your home or anywhere locally you would like. (As long as
we have permission to shoot there)
Digital Camcorders
We set up two (2) digital camcorders to capture your vows.
We also try and capture key moments of the day on video.
Please note we do not follow you around with a camcorder. These
are still camcorders set up at key events. (Cake cutting, first dance,
garter toss, etc.)
What makes us different?
Unlike most photographers, we attend the wedding rehearsal.
We feel it is helpful to know how the wedding will flow so we
know where to be to get he best shots. We feel it is important to
meet the wedding party and the officiator ahead of time. In our
opinion, this is actually the start of the wedding event. It also
gives us a chance to check on any photography restrictions the
church or venue might have. (We only attend the rehearsal, not the dinner)
How long will we stay?
We have NO TIME LIMIT. We get to the church when you get
there. We capture all the events and stay until all the photos are
done.
How many photos do we take?
We average over 2,000 photos per wedding. Please note this
number does vary depending on the size of the families and
wedding party. We bring enough memory to take over 4,000
photos.
Processing time?
Because we go through each and every picture to give you the
best quality photos we can, this process takes about 4 weeks.
This takes some time... but it is worth the result. You will be
given all your photos in high resolution and they are put onto a
disc so you can print all the photos you want.
How far will we travel?
We have traveled to Europe to shoot a wedding, and we are
willing to travel to just about anywhere, as long as you are
willing to pay an additional fee. The distance will determine the
fee.
Can you order prints through us?
We do offer printing service. We use the oldest and most
respected professional lab in the country. We have been using
ProPhoto for over 25 years. Below is a cost breakdown for
professional prints.
- 8 x 10 $8.95
- 5 x 7 $5.50
- 4 x 6 $3.75
We offer both larger and smaller size prints. We also offer black
& white prints as well as a Sepia finish. (Antique look)
Deposit
We require a $475.00 deposit to hold the date. This deposit is
non- refundable. The balance is due 7 days prior to the wedding.
Other products we offer
A coffee table book is a hard covered and bound book with
your wedding photos arranged to tell the story of your wedding
day. Your images are on the front and back cover as well. The
pages look and feel like a heavy magazine pages. This is fast
replacing the traditional wedding album. This is an additional
charge of $250.00. You can have up to 125 photos in the book.
You can choose the photos or you can let us choose the photos.
Either way you will have a chance to view the book before it goes
to the printers to ensure you are happy with the layout and
content. We have several samples of our Coffee Table Book if you
would like to meet with us. We also offer a smaller version (up to 50
photos) called a parent book for $110.00.
Special effects?
We can do special effects and photo touch-ups for a small
charge. Depending on the effect or extent of the touch up, will
vary the cost. Average special effect photo is only a $10.00 fee.
Customized wedding DVD set to your music.
For this DVD, we select photos from your wedding for each of
the following categories: The Rehearsal, Posed Pictures, The
Wedding & The Reception. For each category we arrange the
photos using the latest in slide show presentation software and
set the slide show to music you pick. By putting your photos to
your music, is what makes this DVD so spectacular. Couples
who have bought this DVD say they watch it over and over again.
While we specialize in wedding photography,
